Golden Milk Latte, a.k.a. Turmeric Tea Latte

If you’ve never had a golden milk latte, a.k.a. turmeric tea latte, you are in for a treat! Take a second to google the benefits of turmeric and you’ll know why this is not only a delicious treat but also really fantastic for your brain and your body.
I start by making a powder base that I can keep in a jar in the pantry for quick access when I want a latte. This is called the Golden Milk Powder. Then mix a bit of the powder with your favorite warmed milk and optional sweetener. Try over ice or blended for a chilled summer treat.
Don’t be too strict about how much Golden Milk Powder to add. If you like more, add more! If you like it less spicy, cut back a bit.

I often change up the type of milk I use; always dairy-free for me. On low-carb days I use full-fat coconut milk from the can and very little sweetener or a few drops of stevia. On regular carb days I use cashew milk or a pea protein milk and a bit more honey or maple syrup for enjoyment. I’ve found that oat milk creamer also gives this latte a really nice texture and creaminess.
