Easy no-bake chocolate peanut butter squares

These no-bake bars are so easy to put together and I LOVE that you don’t need to fire up the oven for this sweet treat. The only hard part is waiting an hour for them to chill. Wouldn’t these just make the perfect addition to any football party?

No-Bake Peanut Butter Dessert Bars

Ingredients
Peanut Butter Layer

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter, can sub almond butter
  • 6 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Line a 9″ X 5″ loaf pan with wax or parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the peanut butter, sugar, cream cheese, and warm melted butter until well combined. Drop it by the spoonful (in chunks) onto the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a small pot, melt together the chocolate and cream on low heat. Stir until smooth, then pour on top of the peanut butter chunks and spread into one even layer.
  4. Cover and freeze for 1 to 2 hours or until the chocolate is set. Cut into 18 bars.
  5. Store the leftovers in the fridge for freezer.
